This is an oblique reference to the SPG (Sarong Party Girl), a term for
Singaporean women who like to date only white expatriate men. Of course, true christmas aficionados like us know there is no better white guy to snag than our dear old Frosty! This track features Shawn Letts, a genuinely tall and white guy showing us how to blow. New lyrics were written by our own Joanna Dong (had to be Dong!) to the famous melody “Watermelon Man” composed by badass black Jazz pianist Herbie Hancock (had to be Hancock!). Aya also pays tribute to Herbie by quoting his other seminal composition “Maiden Voyage”.
