This is the internal monologue of a disgruntled and existentialist snowman
whose frustration is manifested through the use of profanities against his
Frankensteinian maker. The song ends with a deceptively uplifting call for
everyone to soothe and comfort the snowman. In truth, “everything’s gonna be alright” is just rhetoric. The snowman’s fate is certain. Then again, so is ours. Oh well! Everything’s gonna be alright.
We do realise that we have a disproportionate number of songs about
snowmen. It is the climate equivalent of penis-envy - it never snows in
Singapore. Anyway, we also feature snippets of conversations between two Malay-speaking snowmen. Because.
